Our Story

Karen Williams and Chris Holland founded Leotards and Monologues in 2010 (becoming Karen Williams Dance in 2022) after returning home to Ireland after illustrious professional performing careers dancing & singing in world famous productions.

 

We pride ourselves in offering the highest quality ballet and jazz tuition in a friendly, kind, encouraging atmosphere. Class sizes are small and every child is nurtured to achieve their best.

​​In 2023 KWD merged with Debbie Allen Dance School & under the collective umbrella of Karen Williams Dance, we operate from a beautiful purpose built dance studio in Dundrum, South Dublin. 

​

We are very proud to have large numbers of senior students entering for vocational exams each year and our students dance with Irish National Youth Ballet, Ballet Boost & Morea Performing Arts. 

We have represented Ireland in the Dance World Cup in 2024, 2025 & 2026.​​
